Information You Provide
- Account Information: Your phone number when you sign up via phone OTP verification, or your name and email address when you sign up through Google or Apple authentication.
- Profile Information: Any additional details you choose to add to your profile, such as display name, interests, age, or preferences.
- Chat Messages: The messages you send when interacting with AI-powered historical figures ("Legends") and Maya (our AI wisdom guide).
- Feedback & Support: Any information you provide when contacting us for support or submitting feedback.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage Data: Features used, pages viewed, session duration, interaction patterns, and app performance data.
- Location Data: Approximate location based on your IP address or, with your permission, more precise location data from your device.
- Analytics Data: Aggregated data about how users interact with the App, collected through third-party analytics tools.
Information from Third-Party Authentication
If you sign up or log in using Google or Apple, we receive limited information from those services (such as your name and email address) as authorized by your account settings with those providers. We do not receive your Google or Apple password.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features.
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account.
- Personalize your experience, including recommending Legends and content relevant to your interests.
- Process and respond to your requests, comments, and questions.
- Send you notifications related to your activity, including daily wisdom content and recommendations (with your consent).
- Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the App's functionality and user experience.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
AI-Powered Conversations
Elevate Legacy features AI-generated representations of historical figures ("Legends") and an AI wisdom guide ("Maya"). These are powered by third-party artificial intelligence models. Important things to understand:
- Not Real People: Legends are AI-generated characters inspired by historical figures. They are not the actual historical persons and do not represent their estates or descendants.
- Not Professional Advice: Conversations with Legends and Maya are for educational, inspirational, and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice.
- Message Processing: Your chat messages are sent to third-party AI service providers to generate responses. We do not sell your conversation data. Messages may be used to improve your personalized experience within the App.
- No Human Monitoring: Your conversations are not actively monitored by humans in real time. However, we may review flagged interactions for safety and quality purposes.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: Third-party companies that help us operate the App, including cloud hosting, AI processing, analytics, and customer support. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
- Authentication Providers: Google and Apple, solely to verify your identity during sign-in.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Safety: When we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of Elevate Legacy, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
- With Your Consent: When you have given us explicit permission to share your information.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. Chat messages are retained to maintain your conversation history and improve your experience.
When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it for legitimate purposes such as security, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance. We will clearly inform you of any such retained data at the time of your deletion request.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information and account (see Account Deletion below).
- Opt-Out of Notifications: Opt out of push notifications and marketing communications through your device settings or the App's notification preferences.
- Data Portability: Request a copy of your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Location Data: Disable location data collection through your device settings at any time.
- Withdraw Consent: Where we process your data based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Children's Privacy
Elevate Legacy is designed for users aged 12 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Users between the ages of 12 and 17 should use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. All content served to users under 18 is designed to be age-appropriate and educational in nature.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at support@mylega.cy.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following categories of third-party services:
- Authentication: Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In for account creation and login.
- AI Processing: Third-party AI model providers to power Legend and Maya conversations.
- Analytics: Tools to help us understand App usage and improve performance.
- Cloud Hosting: Infrastructure providers for data storage and processing.
These services may collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of Google and Apple regarding their authentication services.
The App may also contain links to third-party websites or services not operated by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for their content or privacy practices.
Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by:
- Using the "Delete Account" option in the App's Profile settings.
- Contacting us at support@mylega.cy.
When you request account deletion:
- Your account and profile information will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Your chat messages and conversation history will be deleted.
- Any data we are legally required to retain (e.g., for fraud prevention or regulatory compliance) will be clearly disclosed and deleted when the retention period expires.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. The "Effective" date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
